Position: Civil Engineer

Specified seeking a highly motivated Engineering Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and analytical skills to provide innovative solutions for our clients across various sectors. You will work closely with clients to understand their challenges, develop tailored strategies, and support the implementation of engineering projects.

Location: Antwerp/Ghent/Brussels

Key responsiblities

Design, plan, and develop structural and infrastructure projects.
Conduct site investigations, perform calculations and analyses to validate structural integrity and compliance.
Prepare and review technical documentation, specifications, and reports.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and local building codes.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently.
Collaborate with contractors, architects, and team members throughout project phases.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree related to Civil Engineering
Proven experience with engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Allplan).
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in both team settings and independently.

Recruitment process

The process starts with a phone interview, where we will conclude some basic information. Afterwards you will be invited to have a meeting with both of the Managing partners (this can be one or 2 meetings). As we are a startup we prefer to have at least 1 meeting in person to make sure we are a good fit! Afterwards a contract can be proposed.
